Executive Compensation Trends 2012
Deborah Nielsen has been with Salary.com since 2005 and is the Director of Data Operations and client support for Executive Compensation. She manages a team which researches, evaluates and publishes data for corporate, compliance and governance, and consulting clients on executive and director compensation, salary survey data and other compensation-oriented data sets. She played an integral role in the design of data collection tools and CompAnalyst Executive reports and analytics. She has over 20 years of data collection, QA, licensing and product management experience.
Prior to her tenure at Salary.com she was the Senior Managing Editor for OneSource Information Services, a business information aggregator, where she was responsible for database management, data collection, licensing and QA as well as product management and marketing. She was also formerly the Director of Editorial Operations for CorpTech, a print, electronic and online high-tech business information publisher conducting primary data research. Nielsen has extensive experience with data collection, cleaning mining, taxonomy development, and survey design.
Nielsen is a member of WorldatWork and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals. She is a certified compensation and global remuneration professional. She has a B.A. from Wheaton College and M.A. in Communications and Internet Research from Suffolk University.
