As a four-time CMO, Lisa Arthur has been on the front lines of marketing for over 25 years. She started blogging during her time as head of her own marketing consulting business. Her blog posts draw on her senior leadership roles marketing at Oracle, Akamai and a plethora of other tech firms as well as years as a keynote speaker helping senior marketers change their approach to marketing.
She currently is the CMO of Aprimo, where she is pursuing her quest to help other marketers produce results that drive up the credibility and role of marketing and tackle and resolve some of the tough challenges they face, like: Why is the average CMO tenure only about 18 months? Why are marketers often afraid to stand their ground with sales and development? How can we leverage the power of social media to engage with customers directly and channel those conversations into market-changing opportunities?
