Excerpt From Chapter One: Introducing the Strategic Survey Model
The thesis of this book from which this chapter is selected is that in order to maximize the effectiveness of the employee survey method, the survey program itself must be, and should be, seen as strategic. We regard something as strategic when it is important to the completion of a strategic plan, or of great importance to an integrated or planned effort. In other words, the survey program should fit into a larger whole, a business strategy.
